Thanks to epic games
Thanks to the generosity of Epic Games and their MegaGrants program, my proposal of an open-source augmented reality (AR) workflow for architecture in Unreal Engine 4 (UE4) was a recipient of an Epic MegaGrants. The proposal was prompted by an AR application that I had previously developed in another game engine. The project's intent is to implement a framework for showcasing architectural design based on procedural modelling and an interactive UX in AR environments. After being reviewed by Epic Games as part of my proposal, it was selected to receive support through one of the Epic MegaGrants, which included financial support and a Magic Leap headset. With this support, my initiative is to develop and document an open-source workflow in UE4 that expands the concept of my earlier AR application. This is currently in development and will be shared here with updates in the near future.
